School Lunch Account Information

As the 2016-2017 school year winds down, HCPSS Food & Nutrition Services need to ensure that all school lunch accounts are paid in full through the last day of school on June 14, 2017. The Food & Nutrition Services office sends emails to parents weekly indicating the student’s outstanding meal account balances. Please be informed that outstanding meal charges need to paid in full by May 22, 2017. Payments can be made either in the cafeteria with cash or at www.myschoolbucks.com .

The purpose of this memorandum is to serve notice that the Grounds Service Department has scheduled a pesticide application for the Field Hockey field (Bermuda grass). The date for the application is May 19&20 2017.

Field Day 2017 Coming Soon: Information and Requests for Parent Volunteers

Field Day 2017 is just around the corner on Friday, June 2 (rain date June 5). During Field Day, we emphasize teamwork and good sportsmanship. All students in RECC through fifth grade will participate in Field Day. Field Day will be a full day event for all students with over 50 different activities.

Carson Scholars Fund Recognition for a Bushy Park Student

Fifth grader, Mary Michele, has been selected as a 2017 Carson Scholar. Mary is among 7,300 students from across the country named this year. She was selected because of her academic achievements and service to the community. Mary will receive the scholarship and be honored at the Carson Scholars Fund Annual Awards Ceremony in April.
Information for Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 9-10

We are continuing to use Synergy Conference Management to schedule parent-teacher conferences. Starting last, Thursday, February 23rd, parents have been able to log into HCPSS Connect to view and select a conference time slot provided by the teacher. Parents can register for conferences online through March 8th at 4:00 PM.

Cold and Flu season is upon us. Students who are ill and have a fever should remain at home until the temperature has been normal, without the use of fever reducing medications, for 24 hours.
