This summer, we challenged our BPES students to get reading!  Did you take the Diverse Book Challenge by reading at least 10 books from our suggested book list (or find your own!)? If so, complete the attached reading log, and email it to Mrs. Bialeski at julia_bialeski@hcpss.org. We cannot wait to recognize our students who participated! 

This challenge is open to all of our students entering RECC through 5th grade.  You can read books on your own, or listen to them being read by someone else.  Our suggested book list is broken down into recommendations for primary and intermediate grades, and many of these titles are available from the Howard County library, and on e-reader platforms.

Didn't have time to read much this summer? You can still participate - completed logs are due by Friday, September 25!
