How to Visit or Volunteer at BPES

All visitors must check in at the front office upon arrival. You will need your drivers license to check-in. 

Carson Reading Room Volunteers

Bushy Boutique Volunteers

The Bushy Boutique will be a mobile school store, where students in RECC through 5th grade will have the opportunity to trade in their tickets for a variety of experiences, privileges, or prizes.  Students will visit the Bushy Boutique twice per month on Fridays, and the Bushy Boutique will open on Friday, September 23.   

We are looking for volunteers to run the Bushy Boutique!  Please review the available volunteer slots and sign up to come in using this link.  Please note that you can commit to volunteer every Bushy Boutique, or for only some dates as your availability allows.  Training will be provided for our volunteers on the logistics of the Bushy Boutique.

Front Office Volunteers

We are looking for friendly, welcoming individuals who love children to support our school by volunteering in the front office!  Whether you can give 1-2 hours per week, or if you would like to be here every day, we would love to have your assistance! 

Time Commitment: Anywhere from a few hours a week to multiple days per week, depending on volunteer availability

Tasks: Assist our front office secretaries with greeting visitors, answering phones, delivering items to classrooms, sorting mail, making copies, and other clerical duties as needed

Lunch and Recess Volunteers

We are looking for friendly, welcoming individuals who love children to assist in the cafeteria during lunch shifts and out on the playground at recess!  If you can join us one day per week or more for one or more lunch shifts, we’d love to have you!  This is a great opportunity for parents who would like to be here during their child’s lunch and recess shift to help out.

Time Commitment: At least one shift per week, up to multiple days per week, depending on volunteer availability          

Tasks: Assist our lunch and recess monitors with supervising children during lunch and recess shifts
