To top off a fabulous cultural arts year, author & illustrator David Biedrzycki spent the day at Bushy Park on June 1st. He humorously told of how his ideas can evolve into books, and showed off his popular children's books, including 'Breaking News: Bears to the Rescue' and his 'Ace Lacewig: Bug Detective' series. The 4th and 5th graders were wowed by David's illustrator talents with an impressive computer graphics presentation. He shared some great tidbits like a free drawing app calledSumopaint.com and that he is the creator of the apple graphics on the well known Mott's apple juice label! Mr Biedrzycki's visit was made possible by our PTA, as well as a Hayden family donation through Sarah's Foundation.
