Our next opportunity for parent teacher conferences is scheduled for Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10.  As you may have noticed on the Howard County Public School System calendar, the window for the March parent teacher conferences is shorter than the fall conference window.  This will result in limited time slots on the calendar available for conferencing. 

We are continuing to use Synergy Conference Management to schedule parent-teacher conferences.  Starting at 9:00 AM, tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd, parents can log into HCPSS Connect to view and select a conference time slot provided by the teacher.

Conference Details:

• Math will be the focus area for conferences in grades Kindergartenthrough 3rd Grade.

• Grade 4 and Grade 5 conferences will be with the alternate block conferenced with in November.
  • 4th Grade will be with Block II teachers.
  • 5th Grade will be with Block I  teachers.

• Conferences will be scheduled for twenty minutes. This will allow for fifteen-minute conferences with five minutes of transition time.
  • Please do not schedule back-to-back conferences because transition time between classrooms may cut into your conference meeting time.

Please do not feel obligated to schedule a conference.  You may feel informed of your child’s progress through ongoing communication with your child’s teacher(s.)

Parents can register for conferences online through March 8th at 4:00 PM.
